The Links Hub

The links Hub is designed as a storage for a set of bookmarks allowing users accessing BoardWorks easy access to certain websites. Administrators can enter any Web Address, e.g., https://www.wsj.com (Wall Street Journal) or https://www.ft.com/ (London Financials Times) and these can be sorted into folders for easy organizing. Full URLs which include http:// or https:// are required in this Hub.

Please note: Any user who can log in to BoardWorks will have access to the links.

To add a new link to BoardWorks select the New Link button.

Setting Up a New Link

When adding a new link certain information is required:

  • Title – the name of the item, that is displayed to other users when selecting the link

  • Fill in the Description (for informational purposes)

  • Copy in the URL including the HTTP://

Then click on SAVE.

Setting Up a Links Folder

As discussed already, folders can be created to organize links within BoardWorks. To add new folder select the NEW FOLDER button.

A title and description may then be added to the folder.

To add a link to a folder, please select the folder's name.

The choose the NEW LINKS option.
