Voting is used to collect formal decisions from board members on a specific topic.
Voting is designed to be simple and focused, using a single question format to support clear decision‑making.
How Voting works
Voting differs from Surveys and Evaluations in the following ways:
Voting uses a Yes / No question format.
Administrators can optionally allow an Abstain option for directors.
Only one voting question is created per voting item.
Supporting documents can be attached for participants to review before casting their vote.
These documents are available to users who participate in the voting process, based on their access permissions.
Administrative access and results
All administrators have access to voting questions and voting results.
Voting activity and outcomes can be reviewed once responses are submitted.
Important considerations
Note: As with Surveys and Evaluations, voting questions cannot be modified after the voting has been published. To change a voting question, a new voting item must be created.
Note: Voting items cannot be copied and cannot be created in advance using templates.

For more information on creating a Voting, see the article on Evaluations as the two module work in a similar way.
