Switching Between Boards on Android

This article explains how to switch between boards in the BoardWorks Android app if you have access to multiple boards. Directors with access to more than one board are often referred to as multi-boarded Directors.

How do I switch between boards?

If you have access to multiple boards, you can switch between them from the Board Selection section.

To switch boards:

  1. Tap More from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Select Board Selection.

  3. Tap the board you want to access.

The BoardWorks Android app automatically updates to display content for the selected board.

What happens when I switch boards?

When you switch boards, BoardWorks updates the content displayed throughout the app.

The following information updates based on the selected board:

  • Meetings and events

  • Board Books

  • Documents and reference materials

  • Tasks, including signature requests, voting, evaluations, and surveys

  • BoardWorks Chat conversations

Each board maintains its own meetings, materials, tasks, and activities.

What should I know about multi-boarding?

If you are a multi-boarded Director:

  • You can access multiple boards using a single BoardWorks account.

  • You can switch between boards without signing out of the app.

  • Your profile and account settings remain the same across all boards.

  • The selected board determines the content displayed throughout the app.

Tip: If you cannot find a meeting, document, task, or chat conversation, verify that you are viewing the correct board.

What can I do next?

After switching boards, you can:

  • Access meetings and Board Books

  • Review documents and reference materials

  • Complete tasks, surveys, evaluations, and signature requests

  • Use BoardWorks Chat

  • Access board-specific content and activities
