How do I open the Board Book?
The Board Book contains the meeting agenda, supporting documents, and materials needed to prepare for a meeting.
There are two ways to open the Board Book.
Option 1: Open the Board Book from the M&E screen
Locate the meeting on the M&E (Meetings & Events) screen.
Tap Open Book.
The Board Book opens and displays:
The meeting agenda
Agenda items
Supporting documents
Annotation options
Option 2: Open the Board Book from the Meeting Preview
Open the meeting by tapping the meeting title.
Tap Open Book from the Meeting Actions section.

Tip: Use Open Book from the M&E screen when you want to quickly access meeting materials. Open the Meeting Preview first if you want to review meeting details, attendees, or discussions before opening the Board Book.
How do I navigate the Board Book?
The Board Book provides access to meeting agendas, agenda items, supporting documents, and annotations.
When you open a Board Book, the screen is divided into several sections that help you navigate meeting materials.
From the Board Book, you can:
View the meeting agenda
Navigate agenda items using the Index
Open supporting documents
View annotations associated with the Board Book
Navigate between document pages
Access Print, Email and Open In options
Select an agenda item from the Index to open the associated meeting materials.
Tip: Use the Index to quickly move between agenda items and supporting documents without scrolling through the entire Board Book.
How do I switch between Agenda and Annotations?
The Board Book allows you to switch between the Agenda and Annotations views to review meeting materials and access your saved annotations.
To switch views:
Open the Board Book.
Tap Agenda or Annotations at the top of the screen.
The selected view will be displayed.
Agenda View
The Agenda view allows you to:
Review agenda items
Open supporting documents
Navigate meeting materials
View the structure of the meeting
Annotations View
The Annotations view displays annotations associated with the Board Book.
From the Annotations view, you can:
Review your annotations
Share selected note annotations
Navigate to annotated content
Access previously saved notes and markups
Tip: Use the Agenda view when reviewing meeting materials and switch to Annotations when you want to quickly locate and review your notes.
How do I navigate between pages?
When viewing a document in the Board Book, you can move between pages using the page navigation controls or by swiping between pages.
To navigate between pages:
Open a document within the Board Book.
Swipe left or right across the document, use the arrows on either side of the document or use the page navigation controls at the bottom of the screen.
Continue navigating until you reach the page you want to view.
The current page number is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
You can navigate documents by:
Swiping left or right between pages
Using the Previous Page and Next Page controls
Viewing the current page number indicator
Tip: Swiping between pages is often the quickest way to move through multipage documents on Android.
How do I save annotations?
Annotations created in the BoardWorks Android app are automatically saved and synchronized with the BoardWorks server.
If your device is temporarily offline, annotations are saved locally on the device and synchronized automatically the next time a connection is available.
You can manually save annotations at any time.
To manually save annotations:
Open the Board Book.
Create or update your annotations.
Tap Save Annotations to Server.
Manual saves can be useful when you want immediate confirmation that your latest annotations have been synchronized with the BoardWorks server.
Note: In most situations, you do not need to manually save annotations. BoardWorks automatically saves and synchronizes your annotations whenever a network connection is available.
Tip: If you are working offline, your annotations remain available on your device and will automatically synchronize once you reconnect to the network.
