How do I access meetings?
Meetings and events are displayed on the M&E (Meetings & Events) screen, which is the default home screen of the BoardWorks Android app.
After signing in, your meetings and events are displayed automatically.
If you are viewing another area of the app:
Tap M&E from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
Select View All, Meetings, or Events.
Locate the meeting you want to review.
Your available meetings and events are displayed in chronological order.
How do I open a meeting?
There are two ways to access meeting information from the M&E (Meetings & Events) screen.
Option 1: Open the Meeting Preview
The Meeting Preview provides access to meeting details, attendee information, discussions, and other meeting actions.
Locate the meeting on the M&E screen.
Tap the meeting title.
The Meeting Preview displays:
Attendance Status
Meeting Details
Location or Dial-In information
Open Book
View Agenda
Attendees
Discussions
Option 2: Open the Board Book
If you want to immediately review meeting materials, you can open the Board Book directly.
Locate the meeting on the M&E screen.
Tap Open Book.
The Board Book opens and displays:
The meeting agenda
Agenda items
Related meeting documents
Annotation options
Tip: Open the Meeting Preview when you need meeting details, attendee information, or discussions. Use Open Book when you want to begin reviewing meeting materials right away.
How do I view the meeting agenda?
The Meeting Preview provides access to the meeting agenda and agenda items.
To view the meeting agenda:
Open the meeting.
Tap View Agenda.
The agenda displays:
Agenda items
Meeting topics
Tip: You can also open the Board Book to view the complete agenda, supporting materials, and meeting documents.
How do I see who is attending a meeting?
You can view attendee responses from the Meeting Preview.
To view attendees:
Open the meeting.
Tap Attendees.
The attendee list shows who has:
Accepted the meeting invitation
Declined the meeting invitation
Marked their attendance as Tentative
Note: Attendees are typically shown as Tentative until they respond to the meeting invitation.
How do I participate in meeting discussions?
If discussions have been enabled for a meeting, you can view and participate in meeting-related conversations directly from the Meeting Preview.
To access discussions:
Open the meeting.
Tap Discussions.
The Discussions section allows you to view and participate in conversations related to the meeting.
Note: Available discussion features may vary depending on your organization's configuration.
How do I attend a virtual meeting?
If a virtual meeting link has been included with the meeting, you can join directly from the BoardWorks app.
Open the meeting.
Locate the meeting's virtual meeting information or dial-in details.
Tap the available meeting link.
Depending on what platform you are using, the meeting may open in:
Microsoft Teams
Zoom
Webex
Tip: Installing meeting applications on your Android before the meeting begins provides the best experience.
