Before you begin
Make sure the BoardWorks app is installed on your iPhone.
To install the app:
Open the Apple App Store.
Search for BoardWorks for iPhone.
Download and install the app.
What will I see on the login screen?
When you open the app, the login screen displays:
A Select Region field
Fields for Username and Password
A Login button
Links for Forgot Password, Username and Support
A Settings (gear) icon in the lower-right corner
How do I select my region?
Before logging in, you must select the correct region.
Important: Your region is based on your organization's headquarters, not your physical location.
To select your region:
Tap Select Region.
Choose the appropriate region (for example, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or Australia).
Your selection is saved automatically.
How do I log in for the first time?
To log in:
Enter your username.
Enter the temporary password provided by your BoardWorks Administrator.
Tap Login.
How do I create a new password?
If this is your first login, you will be prompted to create a new password.
Your password must:
Contain at least one uppercase letter
Contain at least one number
Be at least 9 characters long
Not match your last 6 passwords
Not contain your username or parts of your name
After entering your new password:
Confirm the password.
Tap Save.
How do I set up my security question?
After creating your password, you will be asked to create a security question and answer.
Enter your security question.
Enter your security answer.
This information is used if you need to reset your password in the future.
Tap Save to continue.
Note: Your security answer must contain at least 8 characters, including spaces.
Congratulations! You have successfully logged in to the BoardWorks iPhone app.
What happens after I log in?
After logging in:
You may be asked if you want to use Face ID or Touch ID in the future
You may be asked to give access to your photos library
The BoardWorks home screen will load.
A sync indicator may appear while content is being downloaded to your device.
Important: During your first login, allow the synchronization process to complete before opening meeting materials or Board Books.
What if I forgot my username or password?
On the login screen:
Tap Forgot Password to reset your password.
Tap Username Support to recover your username.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
If you continue to experience issues, contact your BoardWorks Administrator.
What can I do next?
Once logged in, you can:
Open meetings and Board Books
Review and annotate documents
Complete voting, surveys, evaluations, and signature requests
Access reference materials
Use BoardWorks Chat
Switch between boards (if you have access to multiple boards)
