Using the BoardWorks iPhone App

This article explains how to navigate the BoardWorks iPhone app, access the main menu, sign out, and manage your account on your device.

How do I navigate the BoardWorks iPhone app?

The BoardWorks iPhone app uses a navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen.

The navigation bar provides quick access to:

  • M&E (Meetings & Events) – View meetings, events, and Board Books

  • Tasks – Access signature requests, voting, evaluations, and surveys

  • Documents – Access board and reference documents

  • Chats – Send and receive messages using BoardWorks Chat

  • More – Access your account, settings, alerts, and additional features

Tap any navigation item to open that section of the app.

What can I access from M&E?

The M&E (Meetings & Events) section is the primary location for accessing meeting-related content.

From M&E, you can:

  • View upcoming meetings and events

  • Open meeting details

  • Access Board Books

  • Review meeting materials

  • Join virtual meetings when available

What can I access from Tasks?

The Tasks section displays action items that require your attention.

Depending on your organization's configuration, Tasks may include:

  • Signature Requests

  • Voting

  • Evaluations

  • Surveys

A badge may appear on the Tasks icon when outstanding items require action.

What can I access from Documents?

The Documents section provides access to board-related and reference documents.

From Documents, you can:

  • View available documents

  • Access reference materials

  • Review board resources

What can I access from Chats?

The Chats section provides access to BoardWorks Chat.

From Chats, you can:

  • View conversations

  • Start new chats

  • Send messages

  • Share photos, videos, media, and files

What can I access from the More section?

The More section contains additional account and application options.

Depending on your organization's configuration, you may have access to:

  • My Account

  • Board Selection

  • Alerts

  • Activity Feed

  • Vault

  • Profiles

  • Links

  • Settings

  • Help

You can also sign out of the BoardWorks app from this section.

What can I do next?

After becoming familiar with the BoardWorks iPhone app, you can:

  • Access meetings and Board Books

  • Review meeting materials

  • Annotate documents

  • Complete tasks, surveys, and evaluations

  • Sign documents

  • Use BoardWorks Chat

  • Switch between boards
