New Login Experience for iPad and iPhone

Learn how to use the new BoardWorks login screen on iPad and iPhone, including selecting the correct region and signing in for the first time.

Starting in v8.4.3, BoardWorks has introduced a new, simplified login experience for both the iPad and iPhone apps.

This update streamlines the login process by allowing users to select their region directly from the login screen, eliminating the need to navigate to a separate settings screen before signing in. Previously, this important step was sometimes missed, which could result in login errors and confusion about account access.

With this update, the correct region must be selected as part of the login process. The region only needs to be set once, and will be retained by the app for future logins. Users will only need to select their region again if the app is reset, removed, or reinstalled.

How do users log in?

To log in using the new login screen:

  1. Tap Select Region

  2. Choose your organization’s region (for example: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or Australia)

  3. Enter your Username

  4. Enter your Password

  5. Tap Login

First-time login

For new users, follow these steps to log in for the first time:

  1. Open the BoardWorks app on your iPad or iPhone

  2. Tap Select Region and choose the region for your organization

  3. Enter your Username

  4. Enter the temporary password provided by your BoardWorks Administrator

  5. Tap Login

  6. When prompted, create a new password and confirm it

  7. Set your security question and answer

  8. Tap Save to complete the setup

Once these steps are complete, you will be logged in and the BoardWorks homepage will load.

Note: The region only needs to be selected the first time you log in. It will be saved for future sessions unless the app is reset or reinstalled.

Important notes

  • The region is based on the organization, not the user’s physical location

  • Face ID or Touch ID settings will continue to work as previously configured

  • Users will only need to reselect the region if the app is reset or reinstalled

  • Login credentials are the same across all devices

Account recovery options are available directly from the login screen:

  • Password to reset a password

  • Username to recover a username

  • Support to request assistance

Accessing app settings

To access additional app settings:

  • Tap the gear (settings) icon in the bottom‑right corner of the screen

This allows configuration changes if needed before logging in.

After logging in

Once logged in:

  • The BoardWorks homepage will load

  • Content will begin to sync automatically
