How do I access tasks?
You can access tasks from the Main Menu.
To open a task section:
Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
Select one of the following:
Voting
Surveys
Evaluations
Each section displays items that are awaiting your response, as well as items that have already been completed.
How do I respond to a vote?
To complete a vote:
Open Voting from the Main Menu.
Tap a vote listed under Pending.
Review the voting question.
Select your response:
Yes
No
Abstain (if available)
Review any supporting documentation, if provided.
Tap Submit when finished.
Note: Some votes may include supporting documentation that can be accessed from within the vote before submitting your response.
How do I know if a vote has been completed?
The Voting section separates votes into two categories:
Pending – Votes that still require your response.
Completed – Votes that have already been submitted.
After submitting a vote, it will appear under Completed.
You can also use the Answered indicator to track your progress while completing a vote.
How do I respond to a survey?
To complete a survey:
Open Surveys from the Main Menu.
Tap a survey listed under Pending.
Review each question and provide your responses.
Tap Next or Previous to navigate between questions.
Tap Submit when finished.
Surveys may contain multiple questions and can include different response types, such as text fields, ratings, opinion spectrum selections, multiple-choice responses, and date entries.
Once submitted, the survey will move from Pending to Completed.
How do I know if a survey has been completed?
The Surveys section separates surveys into two categories:
Pending – Surveys that still require your response.
Completed – Surveys that have already been submitted.
After submitting a survey, it will appear under Completed.
You can also use the Answered indicator to track your progress while completing a survey.
How do I respond to an evaluation?
To complete an evaluation:
Open Evaluations from the Main Menu.
Tap an evaluation listed under Pending.
Review each question and provide your responses.
Review any supporting documentation, if provided.
Tap Next or Previous to navigate between questions.
Tap Submit when finished.
Evaluations may contain multiple questions and can include different response types, such as text fields, ratings, opinion spectrum selections, yes/no questions, and date entries. Depending on how the evaluation has been configured, additional follow-up questions may be displayed based on your previous responses. Some evaluations may also include supporting documentation, either for the evaluation as a whole or for specific questions.
Once submitted, the evaluation will move from Pending to Completed.
How do I know if an evaluation has been completed?
The Evaluations section separates evaluations into two categories:
Pending – Evaluations that still require your response.
Completed – Evaluations that have already been submitted.
After submitting an evaluation, it will appear under Completed.
You can also use the Answered indicator to track your progress while completing an evaluation.
Can I partially complete a task?
Yes.
If you begin working on a vote, survey, or evaluation but do not submit it, BoardWorks will automatically save your progress.
To leave a task without submitting it:
Complete as much of the task as desired.
Tap the Back button or navigate away from the task.
BoardWorks will save your responses and mark the task as In Progress.
You can return to the task later and continue where you left off.
This behavior applies to:
Votes
Surveys
Evaluations
Note: A task is not considered complete until Submit has been selected.

Complete any remaining pending tasks
Access Reference Documents
Review Signature Requests
