Customizing the Recent Updates Panel

The Recent Updates panel helps you stay informed about new activity and changes in BoardWorks by showing updates related to the areas you care about most.

What is the Recent Updates panel?

The Recent Updates panel displays BoardWorks activity from the last 30 days, including updates related to:

  • Alerts

  • Collaborations

  • Discussions

  • Reference documents

  • Surveys

  • Voting

  • Meetings and Events

  • Evaluations

The 10 most recent updates appear directly on the Dashboard.
Select See All to view the complete list of updates from the past 30 days.

How do I customize the Recent Updates panel?

You can choose which types of updates appear in the Recent Updates panel based on what is most relevant to you.

To modify your Recent Updates settings:

  1. In the Recent Updates panel, select the Settings icon.

  2. Select the checkboxes next to the categories for which you want to receive updates.

  3. Clear a checkbox to stop seeing updates for that category.

How do I flag favorite update categories?

You can highlight important update categories so they stand out visually.

To mark a category as a favorite:

  • Select the checkbox next to the update type to flag it as a favorite.

Favorite categories are highlighted with a red flag, making those updates easier to identify at a glance.

How do I save my changes?

After adjusting your preferences:

  1. Select Save.

Your Recent Updates panel refreshes immediately to reflect the changes.
