Responding to a Survey

Learn how Directors can access, complete, and submit surveys assigned to them in BoardWorks using a web browser.

Surveys allow you to provide general feedback and respond to questionnaires assigned to you in BoardWorks.

How do I access a survey?

You can access surveys in two ways:

  • From an email notification

When a survey is available, you may receive an email alert.

  • If you are already logged in to BoardWorks, select the first link in the email.

  • If you are not logged in, select the second link, sign in, and the survey opens automatically after login.

  • From within BoardWorks

  1. From the Dashboard, select Surveys from the main navigation menu.

  2. A list of all surveys that are awaiting your response is displayed.

  3. Select the survey name you want to complete.

Note: Once a survey’s cutoff date has passed, it is no longer accessible in BoardWorks.

How do I complete a survey?

After opening a survey:

  • Review each question carefully.

  • Enter your responses as required.

Surveys are typically simpler than evaluations and may contain fewer questions, depending on how the survey was created.

How do I submit a survey?

Once you have finished answering all questions:

  • Select Submit to send your responses.

After submission, your responses are recorded and the survey is marked as complete.

What you can do next

After submitting a survey, you can:

  • Return to the Dashboard to review meetings or documents

  • Check for additional evaluations, surveys, or voting items that may require your response
