BoardWorks gives you access to your Meetings, Events, Board Books, Reference material, Surveys, Voting, and more…The Windows App can be installed on any Windows 10 or 11 device (Laptop, Surface or Desktop)
This guide will take you through the process of logging in on Windows for the first time as long as you’ve already downloaded the installed the App from the Microsoft Store.
Prerequisites:
The Windows App has been downloaded and installed on your device.
To install the Windows app, please launch the Microsoft Store on your device and search for "Computershare BoardWorks". Download/install the app on your device.

You have your username and temporary password - If you do not have one, please contact your BoardWorks Administrator.
Step 1 - Configure App Region Setting
Your region is determined by your company headquarters and not by your physical location. If your company’s headquarters county is not already selected, you must change it by following the following steps:
1. Launch Windows App
2. Click on Cog icon on the bottom left of your screen to configure App
3. Click on Region dropdown
4. Select desired region
(United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia)
5. Click Save
Step 2 - Logging in for the first time
Launch BoardWorks App (BoardWorks login screen is displayed)
Enter your Username and Temporary Password.
(You should have received an email with your temporary password)
Once you have entered your username and temporary password, you will be required to change your temporary to one of your own choosing. Please consider the password complexity listed when creating a new password.
Click Submit
3. Set your Security Question
Your security answer must have at least 8 characters (including spaces).
The security question and answer are required to reset your password in the future.
Click Save.

The BoardWorks Homepage
Once you have gone through the initial login process, the BoardWorks landing page will display and the sync icon will spin at the top right of the page.
Please allow some time for the sync to process.
