This section explains how to configure and log in to the BoardWorks iPad app for the first time.
Once logged in, you will be able to access meetings, Board Books, reference documents, and assigned tasks.
Before you begin
Make sure the BoardWorks app is installed on your iPad.
To install the app:
Open the App Store
Search for Computershare BoardWorks
Download and install the app
What you will see on the login screen
When you open the app, the login screen displays:
A Select Region field
Fields for Username and Password
A Login button
Links for Forgot Password and Username
A Settings (gear) icon in the bottom‑right corner
Step 1: Select your region
Before logging in, you must select the correct region.
Important: The region is based on your organization’s headquarters, not your physical location.
To select your region:
Tap Select Region
Choose the correct region (for example: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or Australia)
Your selection is saved automatically.
Step 2: Log in for the first time
To log in:
Enter your username
Enter the temporary password provided by your BoardWorks Administrator
Tap Login
Step 3: Set your password
If this is your first login, you will be prompted to create a new password.
Your password must:
Contain at least one uppercase letter
Contain at least one number
Be at least 9 characters long
Not match your last 6 passwords
Not contain your username or parts of your name
After entering your new password:
Confirm it
Tap Save
Step 4: Set your security question
After setting your password, you will be asked to create a security question and answer.

Enter your security answer
Note: Your security answer must contain at least 8 characters including spaces
This information is required if you need to reset your password.
Tap Save to continue.
Step 5: Initial sync
After logging in:
The BoardWorks homepage will load
A sync icon will appear at the top of the screen
Important: If this is your first login, allow the sync process to complete before opening meeting documents.
What if I forgot my username or password?
On the login screen:
Tap Password to reset your password
Tap Username to recover your username
Follow the prompts on screen to complete the process.
Congratulations, you have now logged into the BoardWorks iPad App!
What you can do next
Once logged in, you can:
Open meetings and Board Books
Review and annotate documents
Complete voting, surveys, and evaluations
Access reference materials
