Multi-Factor Authentication allows you and your users to add an additional layer of security to your portal and Apps. When set up and enabled by an Administrator, users will be sent a code to their mobile phone which they will enter at login in addition to their regular username and password. This provides an additional layer of security in the event someone with malicious intent manages to gain access to a user’s credentials - they would also need access to the user’s mobile phone to login.
With an ever-increasing threat of cyber-attacks, further validation could thwart unauthorized access to highly sensitive board or company information. Multi-Factor Authentication can be controlled in the admin portal for an individual user and can be enabled board-wide by support.
